The price level of Spanish origin 12 mm B500S rebar in Spain's local market is at around €540-570/mt ($788-832/mt) ex-works on actual weight basis with 30-day deferred payment, excluding VAT.

Base prices in the Spanish local rebar market last week increased by €50/mt ($73/mt). Some producers are currently insisting on a base price of €350/mt ($511/mt). However, it is also possible to see base price levels of €320-330/mt ($467-482/mt). The rumored increase of €30/mt ($44/mt) for the current week has not materialized. However, the Spanish producers have been mentioning that they will raise their prices further in February.
