Rebar demand in Turkey nearly comes to halt

Demand in the local Turkish rebar market is extremely slack, since buyers are cautious about making new bookings amid the ongoing economic and political uncertainties in the country and since they want to enter the New Year with low inventory levels, and due to harsh winter weather conditions in some regions. Therefore, prices in the local Turkish rebar market have decreased by TRY 10-20/mt since December 22.
