Rebar demand expected to rise in Jordan

In this week's Jordanian domestic rebar market, medium sized rebar prices have remained neutral as compared to last week and are still at JOD 620-625/mt ($874-881/mt) ex-works, including eight percent VAT, on actual weight basis, for 30 and 45-day deferred payments.

With the ongoing tight liquidity in the Jordanian domestic rebar market, demand is expected to rise as weather conditions improve. Between March and October, rebar demand is generally at its highest levels and so transaction numbers are anticipated to climb up. However, local buyers are still concluding deals only according to their urgent needs.

JOD 1 = $1,41
