Qatar-based and UAE-based steel mills announce their rebar prices for January

Qatar -based long steel producer Qatar Steel has increased its rebar prices for January by QAR 40/mt ($11/mt) as compared to the previous month to QAR 2,225/mt ($611/mt) ex-works.
 
In the meantime, the UAE-based steel mill Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) has kept its rebar prices unchanged over the past month at the price level of AED 2,245/mt ($612/mt) ex-works, while Conares Metal Supply has revised its prices upwards by AED 5/mt ($1/mt) to AED 2,230/mt ($608/mt) ex-works.

$1 = QAR 3.64
$1 = AED 3.67
