According to SteelOrbis sources, in the past two weeks local producers' wire rod prices have remained at €450-460/mt ($500-511/mt) delivered in the Italian domestic market. However, local buyers already have enough material and do not intend to buy more than they need.

Meanwhile, Italian producers are offering wire rod to Algeria at €425-430/mt ($472-477/mt), i.e., almost the same levels as two weeks ago. However, Algerian demand is not as lively as in previous weeks because of the approach of Ramadan.
