SteelOrbis has heard that the current offers for 1008 grade 6.8-8 mm wire rod in the local Turkish market are as presented below. Since a mill located in Turkey's Marmara region has recommenced its wire rod production depending on orders taken, some buyers in this region have concluded their purchases from this mill. Other buyers who have no intention of purchasing materials at the level in question have continued to purchase from other regions, instead of from Marmara. This week, due to the fluctuations of the $/TRY exchange rate, local prices on a TRY basis have shown some softening, though prices on a dollar basis have maintained their levels.
