According to market sources, during the past week buyers in the local Iranian billet market have continued to purchase only in line with their needs. As a result, demand in the local Iranian billet market is still weak and so billet stocks have increased in the country. Meanwhile, domestic 150 mm x 150 mm square billet quotations in Iran have softened by $15/mt week on week to $325-330/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT.
