According to market sources, domestic 150 mm x 150 mm square billet quotations in Iran moved up by $5/mt in the middle of last week and have since remained at $345-350/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT. However, market sources state that after the death of former Iranian president Ali Rafsanjani on January 8 activity in the local Iranian billet market has been very quiet.
