Over the past week, domestic structural steel prices in Turkey have decreased by TRY 15/mt. Since demand has remained slack in the market in the same period, producers' inventories are still on the high side which makes it harder for them to continue their operations under the current market conditions. Meanwhile, traders are still concluding purchases only in line with the orders they receive, instead of building stocks.
