Market sources report that UAE-based steel producer Conares has reduced its rebar prices for the domestic market by AED 80/mt ($22/mt) for October production as compared to its prices for September output materials, to AED 1,455/mt ($396/mt) ex-works. Also, the producer is offering discounts of AED 20/mt ($5/mt) and higher depending on tonnage.
