Effective with shipments June 1, 2011, Nucor-Yamato's Raw Materials Surcharge (RMS) for structural products will be $273/nt ($13.65 cwt. or $301/mt). This reflects a decrease of $20/nt ($1.00 cwt. or $22/mt) from the May 1 RMS.
Additionally, the company will increase the base price for all products by $20/nt ($1.00 cwt. or $22/mt) effective June 1. The net effect will be no change in transaction prices.
Fuel charges effective June 1 will be 34 percent for truck and 12 percent for rail.
