Effective with shipments November 1, 2010, Nucor-Yamato's Raw Materials Surcharge (RMS) for structural products will be $178/nt ($8.90 cwt. or $196/mt). This reflects a decrease of $30/nt ($1.50 cwt. or $33/mt) from the October 1 RMS.

Additionally, the company will increase the base price for all products by $30/nt ($1.50 cwt. or $33/mt).  The net effect of this move is that transaction pricing for WFB will remain neutral.

Fuel charges effective November 1 will be 20 percent for truck and 12.5 percent for rail.
