Nucor keeps transaction prices unchanged for rebar, bar

Nucor Bar Mill Group has announced that it will decrease the raw materials surcharge (RMS) applicable to rebar, merchant bar and structural products by $10/nt ($11/mt or $0.50 cwt.) to $225/nt ($248/mt or $11.25 cwt.) for March shipments, while increasing the base prices for these products by $10/nt ($11/mt or $0.50 cwt.).

According to these changes, there will be no change in the transaction prices for rebar, merchant bar and structural products for March shipment.
