In the Italian market, domestic producers' local rebar prices are at €435/mt ($592/mt) ex-works, compared to €435-445/mt ($592-605/mt) one week ago and €445-455/mt ($605-619/mt) three weeks ago. Local demand is very low and there are no signs of improvement on the horizon.

On the export side, the latest offers from Italian producers have been at €425/mt ($578/mt) FOB. Nevertheless, purchasing activities are very slow from Algerian buyers, who are still seeking price decreases without any success.
