SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that 6.5 mm mesh quality wire rod prices in the Omani domestic market have remained unchanged in the past two weeks at $600-605/mt for deliveries to customer. In the meantime, Chinese wire rod offers to Oman are currently standing at the price range of $565-570/mt CFR.

On the other hand, steel mesh prices in the local Omani market have softened by $5/mt as compared to two weeks ago, declining to $655/mt ex-works. Market sources state that steel mesh demand in Oman is at good levels, while local demand for wire rod is moderate.
