After indicating a strong trend for two weeks, demand in the local Turkish wire rod market has declined slightly over the past week. However, with prices in import scrap deals remaining stable, there has been no change in Turkish steel producers' production costs, allowing them to keep their domestic wire rod quotations stable week on week.
