SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have remained unchanged in the past week and are still being quoted at NTD 15,500-15,700/mt ($520-527/mt) ex-works, for late May shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have indicated an increase of NTD 100/mt ($3/mt) in the past week, are currently at the following levels:
