SteelOrbis has been informed that local prices for medium size rebar in the Greek domestic market are currently varying in a range of €720-740/mt delivered to customer ($1,023-1,052/mt), on actual weight basis with 90-day deferred payment, excluding VAT. The price range in question represents a €30/mt decline compared to last week. End-user demand for rebar is still at low levels in the local Greek market, where price levels are still at higher levels compared to other European countries. In spite of the low demand, however, local producers have been keeping their prices at high levels.

€1 = US$1,421/mt
