Local and import rebar prices in Israel - week 30

According to market sources, local steelmakers' rebar offers in the Israeli domestic market are now being quoted at $650-655/mt ex-works, excluding 16 percent VAT, indicating an increase of $5/mt since last week. Meanwhile, Turkish rebar offers to Israel are still ranging at $600-610/mt CFR, remaining unchanged over the same period. Market insiders state that rebar demand in the Israeli market is at moderate levels.
