Local and export offers in Spanish wire rod market

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that local mesh quality wire rod prices in Spain have trended sideways over the past two weeks at €460-465/mt ($639-646/mt) delivered, excluding 21 percent VAT.
 
Meanwhile, Spanish mesh quality and drawing quality wire rod export offers have decreased by €15/mt ($21/mt) over the same period to €445-450/mt ($618-625/mt) FOB and €460-465/mt ($639-646/mt) FOB respectively.
