Leggett & Platt increases prices across the board

US, Missouri-based Leggett & Platt announced earlier this week a price increase of $2.50 cwt. ($55/mt or $50/nt) for all wire categories effective with shipments on October 18, 2010.  The move is attributed to higher wire rod costs for September and October.
