SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that S1 grade welding quality wire rod prices in the Turkish domestic market have increased by $5/mt over the past week to $415-450/mt, while local offers for SG2 grade welding quality wire rod have risen by $10/mt in the same period to $510-530/mt, both ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT and for December shipment. Market players state that demand is livelier in the market since the political uncertainty in Turkey has come to an end after the November 1 general election
