Latest situation in Turkish welding quality wire rod market

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that S1 grade welding quality wire rod prices in the Turkish domestic market have remained stable over the past week at $430-490/mt, while local offers for SG2 grade welding quality wire rod have also remained unchanged at $515-570/mt, both ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT and for September shipment. Market players state that demand is at medium levels, though it has slowed down due to the approach of the Feast of Sacrifice Holiday (September 23-27).
