Latest situation in Vietnamese billet market

According to market sources, billet prices in the local Vietnamese market have not recorded much change as compared to last week and have continued to range at $418-424/mt ex-warehouse. Meanwhile, Vietnamese billet offers to export markets are at $384-388/mt FOB.
 
On the other hand, looking at the import side, Chinese billet offers to the Vietnamese market are at about $350/mt CFR, while some ex-Japan billet deals are heard to have been concluded in Vietnam for 130S x 6 mm products at $360/mt CFR Hai Phong.
