Latest situation in Turkish domestic rebar market

According to market sources, transaction activity is slack in the Turkish domestic rebar market. In some regions, Turkish producers have increased their rebar offers due to the depreciation of the Turkish Lira against the US dollar today, May 20, while buyers find the offers in question to be on the high side.

Meanwhile, Turkish producers' rebar offers are currently at TRY 1,430-1,480/mt ($677-701/mt) ex-works, including VAT.
