SteelOrbis has learned that Bulgarian mills' domestic mesh and drawing quality wire rod prices have increased by BGN 20/mt ($14/mt) as compared to early this week, reaching BGN 1,040-1,060/mt ($703-716/mt) CPT on actual weight basis, exclusive of 20 percent VAT.
In the Bulgarian domestic market, demand has revived slightly in line with the improved weather conditions and mills have been forced to raise their wire rod prices in response to increasing raw material, billet and rebar prices. Bulgarian wire rod mills are now hoping to gain acceptance for their increased prices.
