The Kuwaiti rebar market has moved on a stable trend over the past two months at KWD 195-200/mt ($684-702/mt) ex-works, on theoretical weight basis, while trading activity has remained sluggish.

On the other hand, Turkish rebar offers to the region are ranging at $570-575/mt CFR on theoretical weight basis, decreasing by $20-25/mt over the same period. Demand for Turkish origin rebar in the region is moderate at the moment, and local sources state that buying activity has been weakening with the arrival of the summer.
