Italian wire rod suppliers face low demand

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Italian domestic market drawing quality wire rod prices are standing at €535-540/mt ($669-675/mt) for deliveries to customer, while for mesh quality wire rod no transaction has been heard lately and the market has remained very weak in general.

In the meantime, Italian wire rod export offers are currently at €520/mt ($650/mt) FOB, but demand is almost nonexistent at the moment.
