Italian rebar producers’ prices remain firm despite weak demand

At present, Italian rebar producers' domestic prices are in the range of €385-395/mt ($427-438/mt) ex-works, €10/mt ($11/mt) higher on the upper end week on week amid very low demand. Just like we reported one week ago, though rebar demand is very low, local producers are still able to keep their prices firm supported by good orders from abroad.

Market players do not expect any changes in domestic rebar prices at least until the end of July.
