Italian producers' rebar export prices for the Algerian market have remained stable this week at €340-345/mt FOB ($371-376/mt), while some deals have been concluded in this price range. This could represent an opportunity for Italian producers to increase their prices in the coming days.

As of now, the Algerian import license issue has not been resolved yet and new licenses may arrive in November. In the meantime, some Algerian customers have been able to obtain a brief extension of their previous licenses for the Algerian market.
