Iranian suppliers’ billet export prices are reportedly in the range of $400-410/mt FOB. Market sources state that Iranian billet export quotations, which were at $390/mt FOB last week, are increasing with the influence of the rises seen in Chinese billet export prices and the upward movement recorded in domestic billet quotations in Iran. Meantime, the decreases seen in raw material supply in Iran seem to be contributing to the price rises in the Iranian billet market.
