Market sources report that Israeli buyers have started to increase their inquiries for Turkish rebar offers. It is heard that a Turkish steelmaker has sold rebar in small volumes to the country at the price level of $595/mt CFR on actual weight basis. Meanwhile, with the influence of the upward movement of import scrap prices, Turkish producers are seeking to keep their prices firm, while Turkish rebar offers for Israel are varying in the range of $589-602/mt CFR on actual weight basis.
