wire rod is now being offered for $480 /mt to $490 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports, a $10 /mt increase from last week.
Drawing quality import
wire rods are still being offered for $500 /mt to $510 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Offers at the lower end of the price spectrum are from
Turkey, and the higher priced offers are coming mostly from
Egypt and the Caribbean. Some South American mills are aiming for prices $10 /mt - $15 /mt higher than the above.
