Import wire rod offers in the US

Drawing quality import wire rods are being offered for $495 /mt to $505 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Offers at the lower end of the price spectrum are from Turkey, and the higher priced offers are coming mostly from South America and the Caribbean. Chinese wire rod offers now range from $435 /mt to $445 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. This is a $5 /mt increase from last week. Turkish mesh quality wire rod is still being offered for $465 /mt to $475 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports, the same range as last week.
