Import merchant bar offers from China have remained the same since our last report, still ranging from $600 /mt to $620 /mt CFR FO West Coast ports, on theoretical weight basis. The subject product consists of small sections and some structural channels and angles according to ASTM A36/A6.
Merchant bar offers from Taiwan have also remained the same since our report two weeks ago, ranging from $605 /mt to $625 /mt CFR FO West Coast ports, on theoretical weight basis.
Since last reporting Turkish offers two weeks ago, prices have remained stable and are still ranging from $750 /mt to $770 /mt CFR FO US Gulf ports, based on theoretical weights.
