Following along with other US long product mills, Gerdau Long Steel North America announced Thursday that effective immediately, transaction prices for beam and piling products will decrease by $20/nt ($1.00 cwt. or $22/mt).
Nucor Yamato released a similar announcement for beam prices on Wednesday.
