March production low carbon wire rod export offers from the CIS are currently standing at $655-665/mt FOB, on actual weight basis, though so far no transactions for March production material have been concluded at this price range.
Meanwhile, as SteelOrbis has learnt, a transaction for February production low carbon wire rod has lately been concluded in the CIS at $660/mt FOB, for late March shipment.
On the other hand, in eastern Europe a general slackness has been observed in the steel market due to the tough weather conditions.
