Ex-southern Europe rebar prices decrease further

According to market sources, Spanish rebar offers to the export markets have decreased further by €10/mt ($11/mt) over the past week to €350-355/mt ($396-401/mt) FOB, for October shipment. Market sources state that Turkish producers are offering volume discounts of €5/mt ($5.6/mt). Meanwhile demand has failed to improve during the past week and even in Algeria, which is one of the main markets for European rebar exporters, concluding sales have become difficult.
 
Meanwhile, Italian rebar offers to the export markets have also decreased by €10/mt ($11/mt) in the same period to €350-355/mt ($396-401/mt) FOB, for October shipment.
