SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that ex-CIS offers for 6.5 mm mesh quality wire rod have remained unchanged since last week and are currently at $560-565/mt FOB.

The upward trend of scrap prices and higher wire rod offers in the Turkish domestic market have contributed to making CIS offers more appealing to Turkish buyers. The latest wire rod transaction concluded from the CIS to Turkey was at $575-585/mt CFR.

Last wire rod transactions from the CIS were concluded to the Middle East at $555-560/mt FOB Mairupol.

CIS offers to Europe for similar material are at $590-610/mt DAP, remaining unchanged as compared to last week.
