Ex-CIS billet offers keep sliding down

Ex-CIS billet offers, which were standing at $560/mt FOB last week, have continued their downtrend over the weeks. This week ex-CIS billet offers have decreased by $10-15/mt as compared to last week and are currently ranging at $545-550/mt FOB.

Meanwhile, market sources have informed SteelOrbis that a small tonnage ex-Odessa billet transaction has been concluded recently below the level of $545/mt FOB for advance payment and for July shipment. Ex- CIS billet offers are expected to decline to the level of $530-540/mt FOB soon.
