Ex-China rebar and wire rod offers for Southeast Asia

SteelOrbis has learned that the prices of Chinese origin 18 mm HRB 400 boron-added rebar for Southeast Asia are still at $540/mt FOB, including 13 percent export tax rebate, on actual weight basis, for payments via letter of credit and for late April shipment. The prices have remained stable over the past two weeks.
 
Meanwhile, the prices of Chinese origin 6.5 mm low carbon boron-added wire rod for Southeast Asia have declined by $5/mt over the same period to $535/mt CFR, including 17 percent VAT, on actual weight basis, for payments via letter of credit and for end of April shipments.
