SteelOrbis has been informed that ex-China BS4449 boron-added rebar offers via traders to the export markets are standing at the level of $630-640/mt FOB on actual weight basis and for October shipment.

During the past week, China's export market for rebar was rather weak, with most steel mills experiencing a difficult transaction situation. Since offers from Russia and Turkey, etc., are lower than offers from China, China's rebar exports are expected to continue to register a weak performance in the coming period.
