Approaching the end of August, the European rebar markets are still quiet, as most market operators have not returned from their holiday yet. However, activity in the southern European rebar market is expected to revive in September with the end of holidays. Currently, rebar export offers given from southern Europe are standing at €505-515/mt ($631-644/mt) FOB.

€1 = $1.25
