Rebar demand in Lebanon is at relatively good levels. Meanwhile, Egyptian rebar offers to Lebanon are ranging at $610-615/mt CFR. Local market sources indicate that, since ex-Egypt rebar offers are at the most favorable prices, they have attracted interest in the region and some deals have been concluded at the price levels in question.

In the meantime, Turkish rebar offers to Lebanon are standing at $615-625/mt CFR, ex-CIS offers are at $620-630/mt CFR, while rebar offers from southern Europe to the region are at levels of €495-500/mt ($644-650/mt) CFR.
