SteelOrbis has learnt that Duferdofin Group (Italy's biggest sections producer) is enforcing a price increase of approx. €20/mt depending on categories for Q4 domestic deliveries for both of its production units - for the southern Italian unit at Giammoro and its northern Italian counterpart at Pallanzeno.

According to a Duferdofin Group statement, this move is based on a worldwide positive trend in sections, a rebalancing of stockists' average inventories after the Q3 destocking phase and a forcasted production cost increase for the coming months.
