According to market sources, local producers' billet prices in the Italian domestic market are currently in the range of €315-320/mt ($334-339/mt) ex-works.
Meanwhile, ex-Ukraine billets offers to Italy are at $295-300/mt, while Chinese billet offers to the country are at $275-285/mt depending on the size of the orders. Italian buyers are cautious about making purchases of Chinese billet because of rumors of possible antidumping measures in the coming period.
