Domestic rebar prices in Turkey increase further

Market sources state that, having been at $500/mt ex-works yesterday, July 25, domestic rebar prices in Turkey have increased to $510-515/mt ex-works today.

According to market sources, the fairly full order books of Turkish producers as well as the insufficient supply volume in the local Turkish rebar market - which is reported to be lower than demand levels - and also the sharp price increase seen in import scrap deals concluded today are the main reasons for the significant increases in prices.
