Market sources report that cash flow problems are experienced in the local Iranian rebar market, and so traders are focusing on their stock sales instead of new rebar purchases. As a result, demand in the local Iranian rebar market is currently at low levels, while domestic rebar prices in Iran have decreased by an average of $30/mt since August 28 to $590-600/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT.
