Market sources report that prices in the local Iranian rebar market have fluctuated slightly during the past week due to the weakness of demand.

Despite the weak demand, with global raw material, billet and rebar prices maintaining their high levels, domestic rebar prices in Iran have increased by an average of $75/mt since August 7 to $620-630/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT.
