It is observed that domestic rebar prices in Iran have decreased by an average of $15/mt on the lower end and by $5/mt on the upper end week on week to $575-595/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT. Market sources state that the declines seen in domestic rebar prices in Iran are attributable to the influence of the weakness of demand as well as the current downward movement of the local Iranian billet market.
